With DubbeSeife Cuvée, our collection of wine soaps expands to include a particularly distinctive variety. As with all soaps in this series, wine is part of the recipe – as a deliberate connection to the Palatinate, its landscape, and its wine culture.
The basis is our proven soap base made from saponified vegetable oils. This variety is also pressed at Germany's oldest soap manufacturer. The shape remains unmistakable: Our DubbeSeife takes inspiration from the Palatinate Dubbeglas and transforms an everyday object into a small piece of regional identity.
Visually, the Cuvée presents itself in a dark, purple hue. Fine activated charcoal is responsible for this, giving the soap its striking, elegant appearance. The color appears understated yet distinct – not loud, but full of character.
The scent is also deliberately layered. The name Cuvée is therefore not chosen by chance. Fresh citrus notes emerge at the beginning, accompanied by a hint of eucalyptus. After that, spicy nuances of juniper and cedarwood come to the fore. In the base, a warm, slightly earthy impression remains with patchouli and balsamic accents. Overall, a scent profile with depth and structure is created – inspired more by complexity than by mere sweetness.
In addition to the saponified oils from olive and coconut, the recipe also contains glycerin, which is formed during saponification and binds moisture, as well as vitamin E, which is used as an antioxidant. The wine is a characteristic component of the wine soap line, while activated charcoal supports the special coloring. The composition is complemented by fragrances and coloring components that round off the profile of this variety.
